Hi, I am a country born and bred person from Queensland, Australia.I had a brief stint at boarding school at Downlands,Toowoomba followed by a few years at Gatton Agricultural College. I then spent approx. 3 years in the USA as an exchange student and travelled and worked in Europe. For the rest I have lived and worked in northern Australian on Cattle Stations or mine sites. I also spent a year each in Argentina and Ghana with an Australian Drilling Company.
Have just finished 2 years as an Instructor at Longreach Pastoral College, Queensland training agricultural students in order to be job ready for employment on cattle stations.
I have owned cattle, horses, dogs, cats and chickens and a beautiful Texas Longhorn bullock. I have enjoyed working with horses and cattle for most of my years on this planet!
I love the ocean so if you have the ideal horse and cattle property from where the sea is visible I would love to look after your place!!
I am also happy to consider other places as well.....I can always take a holiday to the sea.....
I am reliable and easy going with a sense of humour. I enjoy travelling and meeting new people but also love catching up with old friends too. I also love photography.
I am keen to help people and love to travel so it makes sense for me to look for this kind of work. I am good with animals and gardens and like meeting new people. I am aware that not all people are going to click and that's ok too. I am easy going and love a laugh but am also reliable and hard working and have a great bunch of friends across Australia.
I can offer reliable referees, police check, and a lot of experience.
Call me anytime for a chat if you need to....
I have looked after friends cattle stations while they had medical appointments in the city. This entailed checking waters for cattle, regularly checking horses, running dogs and feeding, feeding chickens and guinea fowl and cleaning their waters as well. Tending gardens during droughts is always a challenge but I got there.
